This is a “quick” timelapse that I filmed of the Melbourne CBD one chilly afternoon/evening in May 2016. I set up camp on some nearby grass and (riskily) positioned my GoPro around a ledge overlooking the skyline.

Just after I had set up, a professional camera crew came up and filmed the weather report for that evening. They said that now and then, if it’s a really nice day, they actually film the report outside. It was really cool to witness all that goes into filming a  seemingly “simple” 5 minute broadcast! They were nice enough to let me leave my camera where it was; I think it even had a cheeky feature in the background on TV that evening 😉

Anyways, here’s the timelapse. It’s not the best, especially because the camera decided to cut out for a while near the end, but I think it captures the essence of this wonderful city by dusk. Be sure to turn up the quality!
